The list of presentations for the Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group Training Days 2008 has been posted here. This listing does not have session times, but that is usually made available with the Schedule at a Glance/Agenda (which is not yet available at time of writing of this blog). The presentation listing has the abstracts for my two presentations as well as for Bill Jackson's presentation that I will be making a small contribution to.
As usual (and as is probably appropriate given this conference's audience demographics), the presentation is heavily focused on the Oracle database (general, PL/SQL, SQL tuning, RMAN, etc.), especially on new features of Oracle Database 11. However, there are presentations on other subjects as well including my presentations on XQuery and Apache POI; Bill's presentation on threading and software concurrency; several presentations on JDeveloper 11g, Oracle Application Server/OC4J, Oracle SQL Developer, Fusion/Oracle Middleware; Oracle DB with PHP; regular expressions; and even a presentation on using Google Gadgets. In addition, there are some presentations on "softer" skills with subjects such as presentation skills and agile development.
One of the most well-known speakers and writers in the Oracle-related development community, Tom Kyte of AskTom fame, will be speaking at Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group Training Days 2008 as well.
